Financial and Treatment Coordinator:

 
 
Jennifer Cabrera, our Financial and Insurance Coordinator is originally from the Rose City, Tyler TX, where she lived for thirty nine years. Jennifer will help you with treatment appointments, financial and insurance information.  In 2011, she was blessed to marry her high school sweetheart after being apart for twenty-five years, which is what brought her to the Dallas area.  Between the two of them they have three beautiful children. Jennifer has worked in the health industry for over twenty years, and thirteen of those being in the dental field. She enjoys working in an industry where she is able to meet lots of people and develop relationships with them, and looks forward to all the patients she will get to meet in this practice. 
 
 
 New Patient and Hygiene Coordinator:
 
 

Melanie has worked in the health care industry for over 30 years, with the last 20 years in the dental field.  Melanie enjoys meeting new people, building lasting relationships and helping people achieve a healthy, confident smile.   Melanie is blessed with a wonderful family, a husband of 39 years, 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. Melanie’s favorite hobbies are spending time with her family and boxer, Hootch and spending time outdoors and active in exercise class.  Melanie is grateful to join the team and help our patients achieve their oral health goals.

Brittany, RDA joins our team with over 10 Years of dental experience working as a Dental Assistant. She is diligent with patient care and ensures all are comfortable and have an A-1 experience. She really loves the dental field and the fact that we can change lives through teeth. She loves the outdoors and going to the  lake and beaches. Brittany has a magnetic personality and just loves people.

Aruba is originally from Chicago and has called Dallas home for the past 13 years. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at The University of Texas at Dallas and plans to pursue a career in dentistry. With two years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), Aruba has developed a genuine passion for dentistry and the difference it can make in patients’ lives. She values the opportunity to build meaningful connections with patients while helping them feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their oral health. For Aruba, dentistry is especially rewarding because it combines patient care, education, and the ability to make a lasting, positive impact on someone’s overall well-being. Outside of dentistry, Aruba enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and watching true-crime documentaries. She is also a proud cat mom to her three cats, Boba, Tito, and Honey.

 
 
 

 Hygienists:

Amanda McNiel, RDH will work closely with Dr. Bender in maintaining your periodontal health.  She will clean your teeth and help you with oral hygiene techniques to maximize your oral health.  Amanda is a native Texan and graduated from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and later completed a Master of Science with an emphasis in dental hygiene education.  She has worked in a variety of settings starting in public health providing care for underserved individuals, cosmetic and general dental practices, and also in the hospital setting providing dental services for oncology patients and transplant recipients.   Outside of the clinical setting, Amanda is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Texas A&M School of Dentistry.  Amanda is also a certified yoga instructor working part time at a yoga studio within the metroplex.  In her free time she enjoys yoga, pilates, CrossFit, spending time with family, friends, traveling, volunteering, and entertaining her rescue pup, Leon. 

 

 

Christie Groves, RDH is a graduate from Texas Woman’s University. Christie was born and raised in North Texas and has been a dental hygienist for almost twenty five years. She has worked the majority of her career in general dentistry and is very serious about meeting patient needs and taking time to get to know her patients on an individual basis. Christie has two sons and just finished her final year of band volunteering. She enjoys traveling, reading, hiking and biking. Fun Fact: she is a second degree blackbelt. 

Director of Practice Relations:

 
 
 Courtney Burton works outside of our office, maintaining relationships with your general dentist or referring doctors.  They may pick up or deliver information, supplies or lab work between our office and other dental offices.
