Meet Dr. Bender

Dr. Bender, a native of North Texas, is a board-certified periodontist.  Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, she was excited to open her office over ten years ago and provide periodontal care for Frisco and surrounding communities.   She is committed to creating a comfortable office environment supported by her highly trained team of staff members.  The team is dedicated to providing superior periodontal and implant therapy in a patient-focused approach to therapeutic success.

Dr. Bender earned a Bachelor of Arts from Austin College in Sherman, Texas.  She furthered her education at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she was Valedictorian of her dental class and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.).  She continued her education at the Health Science Center in San Antonio to earn her Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences.   Dr. Bender is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (board-certified).  In addition, Dr. Bender maintains advanced training in conscious sedation anesthesia which enables her to provide oral and intravenous (IV) sedation for her patients.  Dr. Bender has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals reporting her research with implant surfaces, bone cements and bone grafting materials.  She attends local and national meetings to keep current with new research, techniques and technology in her scope of practice.  Dr. Bender has been chosen by her peers as a Texas Super Dentist by Texas Monthly Magazine and one of Dallas’ Best Dentists D Magazine.
